I grew up in Ukraine, studied in Hungary, and was drawing before I could really do much else.

Design became serious in 2018, when I moved to London and started teaching myself UI design, graphic design, and design strategy on the side while working in hospitality and events. That self-taught foundation got me hired at Flipify Media, a London agency building Shopify stores, where I designed and built stores at scale, managed client accounts directly, and started prototyping my own apps on the side.

Eventually I went freelance — I wanted a schedule that let me travel, and the freedom to take on a wider range of work. That freelance stretch kept the prototyping habit alive too, alongside real estate design, editorial layouts, e-commerce, and product UI, and eventually took me to Georgia, where I'm now based. Along the way I've also started three companies of my own; most didn't make it, but the lesson each one taught stuck.

Today I lead design and product at Hardened Soft, a senior-only software studio, owning UX, UI, and brand identity end to end. Figma is still where most of my work starts, and lately I've been deep in AI tooling — Claude Code and others — folding it into how I design and build.
